What I built

Redeploy's marketing team runs redeploy.com in Webflow. I rebuilt the site's sections as Webflow components, so the team could put new pages together and edit them in the Designer themselves.

Then I built a lead tool: their agent-readiness self-assessment. A visitor answers six questions about running AI agents in production, which takes about two minutes. The component scores the answers in the browser. To see the result, the visitor enters a work email and ticks a consent box. They get a score, a tier from one to four, and recommendations with the biggest gap first.

The assessment is a native Webflow code component, written in React and added to the site through DevLink. The team can edit the questions, recommendations and consent wording in the Designer. Each email a visitor submits arrives in Webflow's form submissions with their score, tier, answers and the page they were on. The notification email goes to the people the team picks in Webflow.

In August I handed the code to Redeploy's developer with a README, a handover guide, unit tests for the scoring and a local preview of each layout. As of October 2026 the assessment is on six pages of redeploy.com.

Details

• 49 settings in the Designer: 48 text fields and a light or dark theme.
• A section component pairs the assessment with the hidden Webflow form it reports to, so the two always go onto a page together.
• The result appears as soon as the visitor submits their email. If Webflow doesn't record the submission, the visitor still sees their result, with a line asking them to try again later.
• Each submission records which version of the consent wording the visitor agreed to.
• Its styles live in a shadow DOM, so the site's classes can't reach them. Colours and fonts come from the site's Webflow variables.
• A container query switches between two layouts on the component's own width, so it fits a full-width section or a narrow column.
• Before deleting unused styles from the site, I checked each one against Webflow's own cleanup list and against every script and embed that might still use it.
